Love this insight into your garden, Hermione! Your greenhouse is absolutely beautiful. In the process of clearing out garden and making plans for a greenhouse and raised beds a lot like this, hope we can make it look as lovely. 😍

I have been wondering what I can do with my dandelions. I’m participating in no mow May, and my small lawn is full of them. Thanks for sharing this. For the cookies, I harvest the flower?

Yes just the flower and when taking the petals off make sure you don’t put any of the fluffy bits at the bottom in them 🥰

I’m curious if you do anything else with dandelions. 😊

I have put the petals into other cake and biscuit recipes, I sometimes add the leaves to salads and I’ve followed a recipe for “dandelion honey” which tasted nice but I prefer actual honey!

So pleased to have found you on Substack, Hermione. We're neighbours in the Scottish Borders! And we've just move into our garden, finding it a little overgrown but starting to bring it round. As I'm 100% plant-based it's important for me to grow as much as possible and I'll be reading your posts and learning from you.

I've never tried making madeleines the vegan way. Might give them a go.
